As a Stackdrop developer, your role will go beyond coding. You'll take ownership, collaborate closely with architects and project managers, and directly contribute to solutions that make measurable impacts for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retool development:

    • Design and build custom internal tools using Retool, maximizing the platform’s capabilities to streamline business processes.

  • Database & schema design:

    • Develop robust and scalable database schemas.

    • Manage databases effectively, ensuring optimal performance, integrity, and scalability.

  • Javascript development:

    • Write clear, maintainable JavaScript to enhance the functionality and user experience of our Retool applications.

  • Project communication & ownership:

    • Participate actively in client discovery sessions, clearly communicate technical concepts, and gather project requirements.

    • Take ownership of your work, ensuring timely completion, high quality, and effective documentation.

  • Quality assurance & testing:

    • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of your own solutions, maintaining high-quality standards before delivery to the client.

  • Collaboration & learning:

    • Collaborate with senior architects and team members, proactively asking questions and learning continuously.

    • Adapt quickly to new technologies and integration challenges across various client projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent English communication skills—confident speaking directly with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong JavaScript skills and the ability (and/or willingness to quickly learn) Retool.

  • Proven proficiency in database management, SQL, and schema design.

  • Independent problem-solver, comfortable managing your own tasks and deadlines within an agile workflow.

  • Highly organized, with attention to detail in testing, quality assurance, and documentation.
